Four women consistently deprived of honors, medals by male athletes can proceed with their case, appeals court says. NEW YORK – The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit reinstated the case of four female athletes deprived of honors and opportunities at elite track-and-field levels by male athletes permitted to compete against them. Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys represent the athletes—Selina Soule, Chelsea Mitchell, Alanna Smith, and Ashley Nicoletti—who suffered the defeats because the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference adopted a policy that allows males who identify as female to compete in girls’ athletic events.
The 2nd Circuit ruling revives the lawsuit, Soule v. Connecticut Association of Schools, and allows the case to proceed in federal district court. There, the female athletes will seek a merits ruling in favor of fairness and equal opportunities for female athletes under Title IX.

The female complainants at the center of a lawsuit to have a trans-identified male removed from a sorority at the University of Wyoming have re-filed their appeal, demanding the court clearly define the word “woman.” Artemis Langford, previously known as Dallin, was accepted into Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) last September, spurring several women to file a lawsuit to have him removed.

Soon after, Shelby was transferred to FMC Carswell, a female federal correctional facility in Texas.
Sex Discrimination
A second pregnant Texas woman is suing after being ticketed for driving in a HOV lane - and is calling out the Lone Star State's apparent hypocrisy on abortion. The woman, who did not wish to be named, was alone in her car while riding in the lane. She protested that she could use the lane as she was pregnant - but Texas state officials now say her unborn baby doesn't count as a person. That comes despite draconian laws against abortion - with a Texas appeals court even overturning a ruling saying mom Kate Cox could have a termination because her unborn baby suffers a fatal illness - and carrying the fetus to term would leave her infertile.
Dec 13, 2023 - Supreme Court to take up abortion pill case that could impact access nationwide
The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday granted petitions from the Food and Drug Administration and Danco Labs to hear their appeal of a ruling that would reinstate restrictions on the abortion pill mifepristone and sharply roll back access nationwide.
The Texas mother who sued and won the right to have an abortion outside of the state ban on the procedure, has left the Lone Star state after officials stopped her medically necessary abortion from happening. Kate Cox, a 31-year-old mother-of-two, won the rare challenge to the Lone Star State's abortion ban after her pregnancy was ruled unviable. She argued that she may lose her uterus if her pregnancy continued, and it would prevent her from having a third child in the future.
Dec 9, 2023 - It’s taking longer to get an abortion in the US. Doctors fear riskier, more complex procedures
A woman whose fetus was unlikely to survive called more than a dozen abortion clinics before finding one that would take her, only to be put on weekslong waiting lists. A teen waited seven weeks for an abortion because it took her mother that long to get her an appointment. Others seeking the procedure faced waits because they struggled to travel hundreds of miles for care.
About half of U.S. states now have laws that ban or restrict access to abortion. Because of that, many clinics don’t offer the procedure, which has increased demand for appointments at the remaining providers.

Dec 13, 2023 - Making menopause and women’s health a public priority
The Biden administration announced the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research, the first-ever federal mandate to close the long-standing and vast gender gap in medical research.
How has women’s health been so vastly neglected for so long?
The lack of funding tells part of the story. Last year, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) allocated only 10.8 percent of its $45 billion budget to women’s health research, even though women make up more than half of the U.S. population. In some cases, the imbalance is even more profound. For example, women are two-thirds of all Alzheimer’s cases, yet only 12 percent of NIH funding for Alzheimer’s and related dementia research is focused on women.

His mother claims the student failed the portion of the quiz as a result of his answers, which led her to speak out.
Dec 11, 2023 - Why we need to look at the links between male violence against women and girls and porn and prostitution
Data shows that we are witnessing an epidemic of male violence against women and children. We believe this is learned behaviour that persists because it is condoned and protected by political and cultural forces and pornography and prostitution are key cultural forces. We’re living through a crisis of male violence against women and children, much of it sexual violence. And there is little doubt that it’s getting worse.

Paz’s victims had been “groomed” for years, according to an attorney for two of their families, Kathleen Cady, and they came forward only recently, leading to his arrest as an adult.

Serena and Joe Wailes spoke exclusively with "The Ingraham Angle" on Tuesday to discuss the action they are taking against Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), commonly referred to as Jeffco, in Colorado after chaperones on the June trip allegedly told their daughter to "lie" about the reason why she wanted to switch rooms. "They [the Wailes’] were assured in multiple parent meetings leading up to the trip that male and female students would be staying not only in different hotel rooms but also on completely different floors," the ADF claimed.
