June 14 to 20: Gender ideology in elections, the plight of women abroad
And did you know that the Brontë sisters were actually "genderqueer"?
Call to Action
Sign this open letter drafted by Nordic Model Now!, an anti-sex trafficking organization, ahead of the July 4th UK general election. The letter is a call for elected officials to design and enforce anti-prostitution legislation.
Another reminder of an opportunity to join the upcoming camp gathering for women looking to learn and collaborate with fellow radical feminists. The event will take place July 19-21.
Highlighting Women and Women’s Issues
June 17 - Oklahoma law to allow resentencing for incarcerated domestic violence survivors
This is a pretty big deal, especially in a red state like Oklahoma. The law allows judges to consider substantiated experiences of domestic violence as a mitigating factor when sentencing women for acts like killing an abuser or accompanying an abuser in a crime.
June 16 - We won’t wheesht over gender and now our book is making history
The Women Who Wouldn’t Wheesht flew to the top of the bestseller list upon its release. The popularity of the book, which covers the effort of women challenging self-ID laws in Scotland, is yet more evidence that more people are sympathetic to the fight against gender ideology than mainstream media and establishment politicians would have you believe.
June 16 - Tobacco-like plant engineered to pump out nutrients found in breast milk
This scientific development is still in its infancy (no pun intended), but it’s promising nonetheless. For mothers who are not able to breastfeed, a concern is baby lacking the unique nutrients found in breastmilk that formula alternatives fail to replicate.
June 15 - Potent images that shine a light on domestic abuse – in pictures
These portraits capture the experience of domestic violence in South Asian women of the UK. Learn more here.
The headline doesn’t capture the truly groundbreaking work that Dr. Ann Burgess did in studying victims of rape, changing the way that clinicians and law enforcement treat and view these victims. If you have Hulu, you can watch a three-part docuseries titled Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer that reflects on the career of Dr. Burgess.
Erasing Women, LGB, and Their Spaces
June 17 - How trans fanatics tore Pride apart
As much as mainstream media tries to downplay it, there is serious resistance by the LGB in acquiescing to the increasing pushiness of the TQ that has taken over discussion of all things non-heterosexual.
June 14 - Court blocks enforcement of Title IX rules protecting transgender students
This ruling only applies in four states, and another separate ruling that followed a few days later applies to six more states. You can expect the legal challenges against Biden’s rule change to persist until a more far-reaching resolution is decided.
The lovely Judith Butler again.
Look at the first three words of the headline. This is what makes it all too easy for politicians and the general public to ignore the plight of incarcerated women subject to male infiltrators in their facilities.
Silencing Girls, Women, and Their Allies
June 19 - Feminist campaigner accuses police of ‘bullying’ her over tweet about trans doctor
Here is the response of Maya Forstater, the “feminist campaigner.” I really can’t think of another word besides “Orwellian” to describe countries that use law enforcement to intimidate dissenters. And before any American thinks, “Thank goodness we have the First Amendment to protect our free speech,” note that at least two whistleblowers who work at a pediatric hospital in Texas have received threatening visits from the FBI to encourage them towards silence on the subject of trans medicine.
June 15 - Rosie Duffield pulls out of hustings over safety concerns
The Labour Party do not protect their own. It’s unconscionable for the party to ignore that a woman is too fearful to fully engage in campaigning because of threats by Trans Rights Activists.
June 14 - Former SNP equalities officer who wanted to ‘beat up terfs’ convicted of sexual assault
The epilogue of a Trans Rights Activist who found satisfaction in threatening dissenters. I’ll admit that this is one of those non-binary types who has succeeded in superficially obscuring his/her sex, because I have no idea from the photo in the article if I’m looking at a man or a woman. In any case, this person was arrested for groping a female victim and threatening to make false rape allegations against a male victim.
Males in Female Sports
June 18 - Mom of transgender girl athlete says Florida's investigation has destroyed her daughter's life
No, lady, you caused this when you let your teenage boy play on the girls’ team despite knowing full well that he should not and, in Florida, COULD NOT be there. Gotta love the 20,000 (!!!) comments of people collectively rolling their eyes at this mother.
June 17 - Trans boxer Hergie Bacyadan aims for a gold medal at the Paris Summer Olympics
This actually is NOT a male in female sports. It’s a trans man, i.e. a woman who wants to be recognized as a man, competing in the female sports category. Bacyadan allegedly has not taken any cross-sex hormones, so this isn’t a scandal in any way, shape, or form.
Following the dismissal of Thomas’ legal challenge to the ruling barring him from competing in the female category at the Olympics, a former teammate rigtfully asks when the injustice faced by those forced to compete alongside him will be acknowlegded.

Sexual Assault and Exploitation
Pornhub to state governments, “you’re not banning us; we’re banning you!” Let’s be real: between VPNs and the millions of other sites that feature pornographic material across the web, kids who want to find porn will still have an easy time doing so. Still, age verification laws and other conversations around curbing porn consumption are important in reestablishing societal norms around this particular form of sexual exploitation.
June 16: Pornography and social media driving rise in labia surgery, Australian report finds
This is sad, and it’s also sadly familiar. Women have been nipping and tucking at their bodies in response to the media’s representation of female beauty—think boob jobs, lip filler, hair extensions, laser hair removal, BBL, etc—for a long, long time.
June 15: The Influencer Is a Young Teenage Girl. The Audience Is 92% Adult Men.
I think of Andy Warhol’s 15 minutes of fame quote. The dark reality not captured in that quote is how, just like with Hollywood stardom for children, there will be parents whoring their children out for that coveted 15 minutes. From the article:
One man, speaking about one of his favorite young influencers in a Telegram exchange captured by a child-safety activist, said that her mother knew “damn well” that many of her daughter’s followers were “pervy adult men.” “We’re all model scouts, agents and brand owners,” another man replied in jest. “We’re totally NOT jerking off to the pics.”
Sex Discrimination and Prejudice
June 20 - Firestorm erupts over requiring women to sign up for military draft
Democrats put forth the idea that women should be required to sign up for the draft at age 18 just as men have to. This is a debate that has reignited every couple years over the last decade or two.
Hmm, this is an interesting debate. Let’s say the artifacts were held sacred by an ancient female spiritual group, not meant to be seen or touched by men. Would we argue in favor of modern men being disallowed from viewing these artifacts in a museum? Maybe the problem is more that it seems highly unlikely that this museum would think to defend the ancient female group’s beliefs like this.
News Impacting Society and Children
June 20 - Transgender guidance scrapped for NI primary schools
What’s so confusing about the UK is that it feels like government agencies are quietly walking back their adherence to gender ideology while politicians continue to declare allegiance to the trans clan. In any case, it’s good to hear that bad science is being written out official guidelines in schools.
June 19 - France’s Macron faces transphobia accusations after criticising left-wing coalition manifesto
The “transphobia” was criticizing the proposal that transgender people be able to change their gender at town halls, which is part of the platform of a coalition of far-left parties.
June 18 - Has the Pro-Trans Side Lost the Culture War in Britain?
The key takeaway of this article summarizing a shift in trends is that we must continue to very publicly highlight the insanity of gender ideology. When we call out the absurdity and outrageousness of male sex offenders in women’s prisons, of men who LARP as women demanding access to lesbians, of the erasure of all words related motherhood and the female reproductive system in clinical settings, and of being bullied out jobs for believing sex is binary, it is impossible for the general public to ignore how to trans lobby is attempting to rebuild society.
June 16 - Political party manifestos General Election 2024
It sounds like women in the UK are stuck between the same rock versus hard place as American women when it comes to voting for a party that protects the interests of women and girls. Julie Bindel frames it best.
The Powers That Be clearly are not informed about the Streisand Effect, in which the more you try to bury a story, the more you bring attention to it. As you may recall, Audrey “Aiden” Hale was one of 2023’s school shooters in the US, going into an elementary school and shooting to death three children and three adults. Hale’s journal entries reveal that, as suspected, she was indeed on the trans train.
Beyond the West
June 19 - In the Female Genital Mutilation Debate, Gambia’s Traditions Clash With Women’s Rights
A longer piece about the state of the FGM debate in one African nation. And a stark reminder that there are no shortage of items on the list of women’s rights issues that we must continue to make noise about.
Particularly when juxtaposed with the next headline about the Taliban, it really does start to feel like there is no such thing as a good guy in matters related to war.
June 14 - ‘Nobody is coming to help us’: Afghan teenage girls on life without school
A quote from the article:
Now 18, Asma is pregnant. “When I discovered my baby is going to be a girl, the world became dark before my eyes because being a girl here in Afghanistan is not worth it,” she says. “She will never achieve any of her dreams. I wish I was having a boy.”
This is after she was forced out school as a young teen when the Taliban took over, and then forced to marry some random man. What is the endgame of the Taliban here? Everyone in their country is suffering, men and boys included. How are even Taliban leadership benefitting from such a dire state of affairs?
June 14 - A cycle of debt, sex work and cocaine: the women in west Africa caught in Europe’s drugs trail
This is a trend globally: those forced into prostitution due to desperate circumstances use drugs to numb the horror of their daily experience of life.
Entertainment
June 20 - Brontë sisters included in LGBT events because of their androgynous pen names
So, women being compelled to disguise their femaleness as a means to be professionally successful is celebrated by “genderqueer” people? Do they also celebrate the gay people legally compelled to undergo sex reassignment surgery to avoid capital punishment in Iran?
June 14 - Tiger Stripes: The film that shows women's periods are still a taboo
This film has been censored in Malaysia, where the film originates, due its subject matter. The article reflects on the treatment of girls experiencing their first period in film.
