For our Australian sisters, keep the Sex Discrimination Act in focus. Nationals MP Alison Penfold is introducing a private member’s bill that would restore legal definitions of male and female based on biological sex and reinforce protections for women’s spaces and services. Keep public pressure on officials to ensure the bill is not sidelined.

May 19 - WA’s transgender prison policy is target of new federal investigation
This is after a prisoner complained about being physically assaulted by a trans-identified man housed in the same prison as her. The state has a duty to protect the vulnerable, including those who are incarcerated. Hopefully scrutiny from the federal level inspires state-level change.
May 15 - Australian court upholds ruling for transgender woman, doubles damages against female-only app
Sall has stated her intention to continue appealing all the way up to the highest court, but the ruling represents another setback for Australian women attempting to establish female-only spaces in the digital age.
May 14 - Federal Court delivers major procedural wins for women challenging prison transfer policy
Don’t celebrate just yet. This is not yet a substantive victory on the issue of men being housed in women’s prisons. What the ruling does is recognize Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights (CAWSBAR) as having public-interest standing to proceed on behalf of federally incarcerated women, which allows a case to be fought at all.
May 11 - UNC Charlotte will stop gender-affirming housing this fall to match federal rules
UNC previously allowed students to access housing based on gender identity documentation rather than sex, but is now changing their rules to match federal mandate that housing options shall be sex-based and single-sex.
Save Women’s Sports
May 13 - California girls’ track and field stars speak out as Gavin Newsom’s Title IX crisis grows
More of the same. Governor Newsom has gestured toward acknowledging the conflict between women’s rights and gender ideology, but California’s actual policies remain firmly aligned with prioritizing the inclusion of boys and men in female sports. May 13 - Single women are buying more houses. The men they are dating are not responding well
Predictably, the problem seems to be a perceived threat to masculinity. It’s been deeply ingrained in many men that their worth is tied to their status as “breadwinner”, and so we are experiencing a tumultuous cultural adjustment as women increasingly outpace men in areas like education, employment, and, as this article highlights, homeownership.
The study suggests that women are judged more harshly than men for use of AI, which the evaluators associated with competence and technological reliance.

May 12 - PCOS to be renamed PMOS – here’s what the major change means for women
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is being renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) to better reflect the condition’s hormonal and metabolic complexity. The change also acknowledges that many women diagnosed with PCOS do not actually present with polycystic ovaries, which makes the old terminology misleading.

May 15 - Hospital Will Open First ‘Detransition’ Clinic in Legal Settlement With Texas
This is part of an agreement to settle a state invesigation into the practice of “gender-affirming care” at Texas Childrens Hospital. The settlement also includes $10 million in restitution and the firing of five doctors who practiced puberty-blocking and cross-sex hormonal “treatment”.

Human trafficking preys most heavily on those with the fewest economic protections, no matter how “developed” the nation.
May 8 - California to provide 400 free diapers for newborns at dozens of hospitals
An actual pro-life policy. Material support for families, especially during the earliest years of a child’s life, is one of the clearest ways governments can improve outcomes for children.

Unfortunately I think it's more malicious than that. Men are used to being able to block women from earning money and education and leveraging that against them. It's not just about their egos
