Weekly News Roundup July 22-28
Allison Bailey Won! Tavistock gender clinic shutting down. And lots of news relating to minors and children.
Happy Friday and we are happy to close out the week and the month with some major piece of good news from the UK. Here’s our roundup.
Allison Bailey Won!!!
The UK’s London Employment Tribunal has ruled that Allison Bailey, barrister and criminal defense specialist, has been unlawfully discriminated against by the Garden Court Chambers for for expressing gender critical beliefs and for her contention that Stonewall’s advocacy of gender self-identity made it complicit in threats against women.
Like Maya Forstater, Bailey’s has been a long, arduous fight, and suffered a lot of abuses online along the way. The injustice of seeing a system of elites pushing privileged ideology penalize a lone black lesbian and claiming she is a bigot for wanting to recognize the reality of sex is unbelievable. But Bailey took it all in strides, never backed down, and founded the new LGB Alliance.
Congratulations, Allison, and Thank you. You’re our heroine and inspiration.

Female inmates at an Indiana jail has filed a lawsuit against the state after being subjected to a night of terror of rape, assault, and harassment on October 23, 2021 when their prison guards gave male detainees keys to access to their cells in exchange for a bribe of $1000. When the women sought help and complained after the Oct. 23 incident, jail officials punished them by leaving the lights on for 72 straight hours, denying them normal privileges and confiscating pillows, blankets and hygiene items, according to the lawsuit.
What happened to these women was a violation of their 8th Amendment Constitutional right against cruel and inhumane punishment.

Discrimination Against Women
07/28/2022 - Massachusetts House passes post-Roe protections for abortions, gender affirming care
Following the end of Roe v. Wade, Massachusetts State House and Senate have passed Bill H.5090 to codify abortion right…with a completely unrelated hitch: the bill includes protections for “gender-affirming care.” How are two rights the same or related in any way? In fact, “gender affirming care” advocates erasure of women, devalues women, and may be potentially damaging to women. To politicians, women and women’s rights are just political football and baits to hold women’s votes hostage.
The entirety of the bill can be read here: An Act expanding protections for reproductive and gender-affirming care
7/28/2022 - UK: Woman Removed from Community Event After Being Deemed ‘Transphobic’
Cancellation of women continues under the auspice of “transphobia”. A British woman, a disabled mother of three, was kicked out of People in the Park, an annual community event at Salisbury’s Queen Elizabeth Gardens that features local small businesses selling environmentally-friendly products after she voiced her opposition to Penny Mordaunt, a contender for the UK Conservative Party’s leadership and politely stating her support for women and their sex-based rights.

07/26/2022 - Transgender Swimmer Lia Thomas Loses Bid for NCAA Woman of the Year Award
Lia Thomas won’t be NCAA’s Women of the Year after all. The Ivy League Conference has chosen Columbia University fencer Sylvie Binder to advance to the next round. On the one hand, this is small comfort. However, it is clear the the NCAA and the Ivy League remain firm on its stand to shut women athletes out in favor of male athletes who say they are women despite FINA’s recent change in policy.
Meanwhile, we applaud collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines, who raced against Thomas, for her undaunted courage to continue to speak out on the gross inequity, and the institutional sexual harassment and deprivation of consent by the schools to allow a man in the women’s locker room.

News Impacting Society and Children
07/28/2022 - Tavistock Gender Clinic Closes!!

Their services will be replaced by regional hospitals offering comprehensive care with strong links to mental health services.
07/27/2022 - Republican attorneys general sue federal government over LGBTQ school meal guidance
The Biden Administration has sunk to a new low. The Agricultural Department has issued a new directive to withholding federal funding for school lunch programs for low-income children from states that refuse to adopt “gender identity” policies. In response, the attorney general of Tennessee has filed a lawsuit against the federal government. Attorney generals from more than twenty states have joined the suit.
It takes a special kind of evil to want poor children to go hungry because of the school’s management decision to not adhere to a political and ideological doctrine of the Democratic Party. What kind of sick minds would use low-income children as pawns to force school administrations to uphold a luxury belief of children from privilege classes?

Trans-identifying children should not be discriminated against.
