Welcome to the first edition of "Woman: Adult Human Female" Newsletter
TGIF and here’s our News Roundup this week. We aim to keep track of how the current rush and political push to implement gender ideology in law, public policies, education, culture, and society, without closer examination and deeper discussions, is leading to negative impact on women and consequences on erosion of women’s rights.
Males in Female Prisons and Shelters
6/12/2022 - California SB-132
In California, female inmates are now being punished for submitting complaints of rape and sexual harassment by trans-identified male inmates who are transferred to female prisons. SB-132 allows male inmates to request for transfers to female prisons based on self-identification as “women”. Since its implementation, over 300 male inmates have applied to be moved to California’s female prisons.
Sagal Sidiq, a refugee from Somalia who is a female inmate at the Central California Women’s Facility, has written a sworn declaration in support of the lawsuit filed by the Women’s Liberation Front (WOLF) on behalf of four incarcerated women challenging SB-132. She is suffering retaliation by both the male inmate harassing her and the prison authorities. The prison authorities are also concealing and silencing female inmates who complain by transferring them away to other prisons to break down their united voices. Reduxx and WOLF have both reported on how the system is penalizing Sidiq and WOLF’s lawsuit (Chandler v. CDCR):

6/10/2022 - Colin Wright Cancelled by PayPal and Etsy
Evolution biologist Colin Wright, a former advocate against creationism in school who now champions reality and science of biological sex in humans, is the latest victim of corporate ideological censorship by denial of livelihood. Wright’s career as a scientist was derailed by trans activists when he refused to deny the science of sex differences. This week, his Paypal account, through which he accepts donations for his work, and his Etsy store, were both shut down without explanation.

Good news! Cycling’s governing body, the International Cycling Union, revised their policy to require trans-identifying male athletes to increase their transition period from one year to two years, with the maximum accepted level of testosterone lowered from 5 to 2.5 nanomoles per liter. We still don’t agree with changing women’s sports to mixed-sex sports, but the new requirements may achieve that result in practice.

Tech Giant Google has agreed to pay $118 million to settle a lawsuit for sex discrimination in salaries against their female employees. $118 million is a pittance to Google. One wonders if the amount is enough to deter Google and companies like it from future discriminatory practices.

Good News. UK’s LGB Alliance announced on Twitter they received a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to create a helpline dedicated to young lesbian, gay, and bisexual people. We provide you the link to their tweet below. Of course, Twitter decided this is “inappropriate content” requiring age restriction, so you must be 18+ and login to view it. So Twitter is obstructing the very people who the helpline is designed to support. Oh, the irony.
