ICYMI, you might "enjoy" her recent post on Yang's "Year Zero":

https://wesleyyang.substack.com/p/what-did-you-during-the-transgender

But, en passant, thanks for your recent "Like". 👍🙂 Apropos of which, you might have some interest in some further discussion I'd had with "Hippiesq", the woman I'd directed that "open letter" to.

Not least because I'd pointed her here because of your link to a few New Zealand stories, and to Tucker's video. 🙂 Interesting, and encouraging, that the views are now up around 34 million already. Going to be hell to pay for that whole phenomenon.

thanks for the links and sharing the newsletter. No "women only" gatherings for lesbains in NZ, but some things are looking up.

Oh I do hope heads will roll!!

De nada; share the wealth; praise the lord and pass the ammunition. 🙂

But as Madame Thérèse Defarge might have put it, "The guillotine! The guillotine!!" 😉🙂 Though sure do sympathize with that sentiment in this case.

But, in a note from our sponsor ...🙂 and ICYMI, my post on the corruption of various statistics departments by transgenderism where NZ garners a "dishonorable" mention:

https://humanuseofhumanbeings.substack.com/p/statistics-departments-corrupted

Of particular note in their case:

"But [NZ Stats] really cross the Rubicon in style while showing their true colours with this bit of gobsmackingly anti-scientific claptrap:

'Sex reassignment occurs where a person has undergone the necessary treatment to permanently change their sex. If a person's sex is indeterminate at birth, sex assignment occurs when they undergo treatment to become male or female.'

Only clownfish – and members of more than a few other species – 'become male or female'."

Another group for the guillotine ... 🙂

indeterminate at birth...

The whole section is a bit vague, mealy-mouthed, or quite unscientific. Prior to the previously quoted bit:

"A person who has undergone sex reassignment should be classified to that sex. A person who was of indeterminate sex and who has undergone sex assignment should be classified to that sex. Someone who is currently undergoing such procedures and living as the sex that they are taking steps towards would be classified as that sex."

https://aria.stats.govt.nz/aria/?_ga=2.135330993.1433053733.1593671441-939313310.1593671441#StandardView:uri=http://stats.govt.nz/cms/StatisticalStandard/FrytLv0KtGf6RhVY

"living as the sex ... would be classified as that sex". Referring not to babies but to "adults". Still seems to be endorsing the view that sex change is possible. Part and parcel of the "self-identification" crap. And with all of the same "problematic" consequences".

Though they usefully draw about the same distinction between sex & gender that Hippiesq & I have been discussing:

"Whereas sex is a biologically determined variable, gender refers to the socially and culturally perceived or expected dimensions of behaviour associated with males and females, that is masculinity and femininity respectively."

Far too many people have made the sexes into "immutable identities" based on some "mythic essences" -- as UK "philosopher" Jane Clare Jones once, more or less reasonably, put it. Think it would help a great deal if we could all accept the standard biological definitions for the sexes and their logical consequences.

Think I may have mentioned this before but seems relevant here in any case, a recent article in the Wiley Online Library:

"Another reason for the wide-spread misconception about the biological sex is the notion that it is a condition, while in reality it may be a life-history stage. For instance, a mammalian embryo with heterozygous sex chromosomes (XY-setup) is not reproductively competent, as it does not produce gametes of any size. Thus, strictly speaking it does not have any biological sex, yet."

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/bies.202200173

From zygote, to embryo, to fetus, to the onset of puberty, none of us are or were "reproductively competent" -- we are not or were not yet male or female; we are or were sexless.

"life-history stage" -- like "teenager".

Thank you!

I have to say that Coming Out publicly doesn’t happen only in LA. My public high school in Northern California offers students the chance to come out on Zoom for the entire school. I am expecting that in October 11 our new TIM staff member will join the kids this time. We just don’t get the “celebs” they get in LA.

This sounds like a page torn from Maoism - instant status and glorification encouraged by adults and validated by the whole class. Where are the parents? This is horrific. You should share the details with @libsoftiktok, she tkaes anon tips and would probabbl ylove to dig in and expose this. So glad you are reading our newsletter. Thank you for your comment.
