UN Women is an embarassment and makes a complete mockery of what it was originally set up, as an arm of an International organisation, to do and that was to specifically protect women and women's rights, globally.

Protect women from whom and what? From men and the 'insidiousness' and 'oppression' of 'patriarchy'. Everything that the concept of trans 'women' represents and yet UN Women embrace and hard push that concept in direct conflict and opposition to women's sex based rights. Whilst turning a blind eye to the real violations and actual harms that are being perpetrated every day on women because of the trans ideology and women being violated in every way conceivable whilst being used as political pawns and hostages of war.

UN Women thought it was more important to hard sell the delusion of 'Trans Lesbians' who in reality are simply heterosexual men role playing as female impersonators. The international gas-lighting is real.

It begs belief.

Yes. It is shocking to us too how quickly all the legacy pro-women organizations have been neutralized and disarmed completely in such a short time and absorbed by gender ideology.

Absolutely! I was seriously perturbed by the silence and lack of visual and vocal representation on even alternative media (and very welcoming and large platforms) of Women's Groups. I thought it was fear of losing funding that indirectly caused them to publicly avoid this issue like the plague. However, I've come to realise there is much more to it. Sadly, some liberal and left-wing women's minds have literally been captured by this ideology. It is tragic to me that any woman would ever, in this life time and the next and in perpetuity, support this dark and dangerous pantomine.

Yes all the "Women's" Groups one would expect to speak out no longer do anymore. They were completely silent during the women's uprising in Iran a while back too. That also includes all politicians who claim to be "feminists". It may be funding, but we suspect it's more than that. Advocating for women is just not their priority anymore when it conflicts with other causes they now prioritize.

Yes and isn't that a shame? And if ever there was a time we needed Women's 'groups' (exerting the power that exists within a group and groups 'united') to visibly advocate on our behalf, generate awareness and rev up women into action, it is now. That's their reason for these groups' existence, isn't it? To defend, speak out, protest and advocate on threats and attacks (potential or realised) against women's sex based rights and rights that should exist but don't.

Instead, we are getting an eery silence, whilst lone women's voices are out there in the trenches doing what groups & their representatives should be doing eg Helen Joyce, Kara Dansky, Prof. Kathleen Stock, Meghan Murphy, Stella O'Malley & Sasha Ayad, JK Rowling, etc. whilst facing misogynistic abuse and death threats on their own. No groups publicly denouncing the wrongfulness and calling for Police intervention, in line with criminal hate speech, criminal harassment and sex discrimination.

Everything is so surreal.

What a shocking update of what’s happening to women locally and globally. The sheer breadth & depth of violent & unrelenting misogyny, & now the UN as well. It honestly feels like we take one step forward only to be knocked back 3+. Thank you for this. I have retweeted this.
