The Kiwi in the Coalmine, Part I
How trans-activists led by Keffals deplatformed Kiwi Farms, the largest internet forum where private individuals could still freely speak their minds
Today, we bring to you a full account of how the tech companies have cowed to the demands of transactivists, and shut down and erased the web forum Kiwi Farms for critical opinions about gender ideology, and damaging but factual information about certain trans-identifying personalities. While the content on Kiwi Farms are controversial and offensive, the suppression and erasure of Kiwi Farms could embolden trans-activists to target smaller gender critical feminist sites with much less resources. Online, trans-activists have blatantly said their next push will be to cut off funding sources of those they deem to be “enemies”. Therefore, we feel it imperative to raise awareness as to what is happening, and also to provide to the public a more accurate account of the events that transpired.

September 5th, 2022: a date, which would live in infamy. It was on this day that an otherwise little-known website called Kiwi Farms found itself in the crosshairs of the powerful trans activist lobby — and left in its wake an ominous warning about the erosion of civil liberties in the name of “progress.”
As Janis Joplin once said, freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose. So what is the “Kiwi Farms saga,” and what has been lost in the process — and is there a chance that what was lost will someday be found?
A brief history of the kiwi in the wild
Kiwi Farms was founded in 2013 by Joshua Moon (known as “Null”), as a web forum to mock and troll Internet-famous personalities known for drawing controversial or negative attention to themselves (“lolcows,” so termed because they can be “milked” for entertainment) through outlandish antics or statements. One of the main attractions was its staunch commitment to freedom of speech, which included information that the individuals featured on the threads would prefer to keep buried.
Despite its negative reputation in the press as a “far-right hate site,” Kiwi Farms essentially functioned as a gossip outlet similar to TMZ or the National Enquirer. The message board’s members, known (aptly enough) as Kiwi Farmers, came from all walks of life and all political persuasions or party affiliations. KF's approach to speech is no-holds-bar". Its forum members freely use slurs of every kind, and they have no restraints when it comes to making comments deemed offensive by those inhabiting in spheres of Safetyism in today's world." Even Donald Trump, reality-TV president and shitposter-in-chief, had his own thread as the de facto king of the “lolcows.” It is also worth noting that while Kiwi Farms have been branded a “hate site” by mainstream media and activists on the left, the only politician who Kiwi Farms have targeted for laughs is Trump. That said, there had been accusations against Kiwi Farmers for doxing of their targets.
Over time, Kiwi Farms’ chronicles extended to trans-identified activists, “influencers,” and public figures, as the influence of trans-activism rapidly expanded and intensified over nearly all facets of everyday life. Many women even joined when a swarm of trans-identified moderators at Reddit purged the site of its popular Gender Critical subforum. The exposure of predatory trans-activists (such as Jonathan “Jessica” Yaniv) and “trans-friendly” surgeons (such as Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher) evolved further into serious discussion of the encroachment of trans-activists’ demands, and the lies being sold to further the trans-activists’ agenda. The gruesome reality of gender medicalization, the illogic of the ideology, and most notably, the influence this movement is having on children, was on full display — much to the lobby’s ire and chagrin.
What I fear more than losing my site, being sued, or dealing with police is living in a world where fat eunuchs can groom little boys into castrating themselves and nobody is allowed to say anything about it.
The tide of public opinion is turning more against people like this every day. The ruse is crumbling, in no small part due to the most visible trans advocates.

The defiant refusal of Josh Moon and the forum’s membership to buckle to the demands of trans-activists, who had successfully and forcefully implemented their arcane rules of engagement on virtually every mainstream social media network and even into institutions such as medicine, law, and the mainstream news media, became a thorn in the side of the influential lobby. Despite numerous pressure campaigns, bombardments of its hosting infrastructure, and (unproven) allegations of facilitating criminal activity, they could not kill the kiwi.
Until now.
Hunted to extinction
The bizarre saga of Kiwi Farms’ demise has been chronicled in bits and pieces, but the “official” narrative is not the full story. At the center of all this is a militant trans-activist and video blogger known as “Keffals” (Lucas Roberts, now going by the name of “Clara Sorrenti”), marshaling a Lord of the Flies-style pitchfork mob to attack and destroy this freewheeling and irreverent discussion board, to cover his tracks (and that of his allies) and bury evidence of his (and their) bad behavior.
Just what kind of bad behavior, one might ask? For starts, Keffals has been accused of grooming minors into the “gender-modification” cult through a BDSM-focused chatroom called the “Catboy Ranch,” and helping them to get hooked on DIY hormones — a controlled substance — distributed across international borders. All of this was meticulously documented on Kiwi Farms. He was also revealed to be a failed “fart porn” performer — yes, that is a thing, apparently — and Josh Moon ridiculed him for it on a video blog of his own. Furthermore, Keffals himself was not above doxing when it suited him, as is shown in this video and archived tweet:
But Keffals is the “victim” here, according to the mainstream media reporting, which has never acknowledged any of this. Instead, he has been portrayed as a champion of the “oppressed,” a veritable “John” of Arc leading the charge of the trans brigade. It is a risible farce that, if it were reported accurately, most normal people would likely find laughable, if not express instinctive disgust.

In Keffals’ corner were several other personalities seeking revenge upon the site that had ridiculed them, and publicly revealed and documented things they would rather keep hidden. At the peak of the drama, tangential players swept up the site into broader conflicts already going on, from the “culture war” in the U.S. during a bitter election year, to even the actual war between Russia and Ukraine. Clueless Canadian cops, a polarizing U.S. congresswoman, and even a former assistant director of the F.B.I., all make cameo appearances. It would make for a gripping motion picture… or a book, by none other than J.K. Rowling, of course.
But what is perhaps most disturbing is the complicity of mainstream media coverage that is not even bothering to offer a pretense of objectivity any longer, nor a commitment to free expression as a keystone principle of journalism.1 As well, the cowardice by those who betrayed not only Kiwi Farms and its owner-operator, but their own lofty ideals and stated bedrock values, in the face of a “woke” mob. Namely, Matthew Prince, the CEO of website protection service Cloudflare,2 who buckled on his commitment to freedom of speech with little more than a weasel-word statement reflecting manufactured3 “threats to human life.”
This is an organized attack. There is a coalition of criminals trying to frame the forum for their behavior. These criminals provide opportunities for professional victims to amplify their message. Journalists canonize the crimes as the behavior of the forum itself, which becomes the effective truth for the general public.

Kiwi Farms essentially was one of the last refuges for true freedom of expression in this increasingly corporatized “public” square, where all of us now are subject to the ESG and DEI4 gospels governing their “mission statements,” and for which harsh penalties are dealt out for defying them. Call it the powers that be, the “vertically integrated messaging apparatus” (Substacker Wesley Yang’s term), the swamp, the deep state, the establishment, the man, it’s the same thing altogether — or as Josh Moon calls it, “the cathedral.”5
It is an all-encompassing ideological, societal, and institutional mega-monolith that brooks no dissent.
And lo and behold, it hates women, and preys upon children, just like the “church” or “religion” that it ostensibly replaced.
This is a machine that was built up … and activates any time the cathedral wants to test the new fronts of its censorship. It is a massive amalgamation of various interests.
And what this machine will not accept is compromise. If I censored specific kinds of behavior, it would not matter. They don't want a specific thing censored. They want the average person to be able to speak in channels where only specific thoughts are acceptable.

The alleged “threat post” purportedly coming from Kiwi Farms, and which was screenshotted by Keffals as “proof positive” the forum encouraged unlawful and violent behavior, is believed to have come from a drive-by “sleeper” account activated as part of Keffals’ infiltration network. Basically, the Internet’s version of pulling a fire alarm.
Environmental/social/governance and diversity/equity/inclusion metrics, used to judge businesses by how well they adhere to the dogmas of social justice and “critical theory” academics and activists. Some critics of DEI policies have noted that the acronym is the same spelling as the Latin word for “God” and described it as the “holy trinity” of the new “woke” civic religion. Others rearrange it into diversity/inclusion/equity or DIE to indicate what’s happening to common sense and free thought under its often draconian and nonsensical impositions.
“The cathedral” is a cool, cryptic-sounding name worthy of a Dan Brown novel (or a J.K. Rowling innovation on the genre), but Moon is in fact referencing a concept of rapid-onset institutional groupthink creating a single point of epistemological failure, that has been critiqued elsewhere before.
