Great news roundup!

re surrogacy research: "Researchers suggest stricter adherence to eligibility guidelines to mitigate these risks."

That’s one possible conclusion.

How about just knock off the $urrogacy??

It’s $uch an eliti$t narci$$ist activity at expense of women.

"Although I might point out that some "fully fledged" women -- given birth to babies of their own -- are in fact XYs" Gee, THANKS SO MUCH for taking time to point that out here on WOMAN: Adult Human Female. "Fully fledged" is your interp.

This post you refer to is abt XX DAY on Oct 10. It is NOT abt any XY or "fully fledged" whatever dafk that is in your mind nor does XX DAY require having given birth.

Why are you even here?

Happy forthcoming "XX Day". Although I might point out that some "fully fledged" women -- given birth to babies of their own -- are in fact XYs. HTHs ... 😉🙂

But thanks again for a great news round-up. Have barely read the headlines of most but this one speaks, rather loudly, to the fact that Democrats and Republicans are talking different languages when it comes to sex and gender:

"Trump has been more vocal on the issue. In a 2023 video posted by the former president, he said if re-elected, he would push for a bill that establishes male and female as the only genders recognized by the federal government. Trump’s campaign platform includes pushing to 'keep men out of women’s sports' and banning 'taxpayer funding for sex change surgeries.' ...."

Trump is likely to win a lot of votes just on that, but "male" and "female" are not genders, they're sexes. And castrating and sterilizing autistic and dysphoric children is not performing "sex changes" on them, it is turning them into sexless eunuchs.

The late great US Justice Anton Scalia had a rather brilliant analogy summarizing those differences:

AS: "The word 'gender' has acquired the new and useful connotation of cultural or attitudinal characteristics (as opposed to physical characteristics) distinctive to the sexes. That is to say, gender is to sex as feminine is to female and masculine to male."
